Leader personnel served as health and safety supervisors during numerous service outages at nuclear and fossil fuel power generating stations across the United States. Duties included the enforcement of facility, OSHA and NRC regulations regarding plant construction and nuclear safety. Implemented various programs, including confined space entries, IAQ assessments, noise dosimetry and contaminated monitoring programs, respiratory protection programs for asbestos and lead removal and served as liaison between contractors, millwright unions and in-house personnel. Units were brought on-line and on time or ahead of schedule with the lowest recordable accident ratios in the plants' outage histories.
