Hanna Furnace Site

Leader personnel conducted an ESA at a former steel manufacturing facility in Buffalo. This ESA involved review of steel manufacturing process information and previous studies conducted by other consultants. A Phase II program was designed involving installation of test boring/monitoring wells and soil and ground water sampling and testing. The environmental concerns were identified at the site and a mini-feasibility study was performed to identify the most cost-effective remedial alternative for the site. Leader personnel prepared remedial cost estimates to guide the owner's decision-making process relative to future development of the site.
